His most recent book, Green to Gold: How Smart Companies Use Environmental Strategy to Innovate, Create Value, and Build Competitive Advantage, argues that pollution control and natural resource management have become critical elements of marketplace success and explains how leading-edge companies have folded environmental thinking into their core business strategies.

To Carbon off set or not to carbon offset, that is the question (Dardenelles) This is an option that can be easily offered at the time of booking and doesn't necessarily cost the hotel anything. By allowing guests to offset their carbon emissions on their travels makes them feel better about their stay and lets you know which guest are "green" before they walk in the door.
